“Birthday Dinner - I dine here a week ago with my cousin for her birthday. This is our second time dining here. Both times the service was great. Our waiter this time was joking with us an always checked on how our food was. We ordered 3 apps and got their fresh bread as well. For our main, my cousin had the tortellini and I had their chicken breast with the hot peppers and tomato sauce. Both were delicious. My cousin's dish is to die for (she had gotten it the first time we came as well). Because it was her birthday they gave her dessert on the house, which was very nice. “Business Lunch was Excellent- Made a reservation online 50 minutes before opening on a Wednesday, and it was very easy. The reservation system is accessed from Tosca's website - convenient. Arrived a couple of minutes before my reservation, and was promptly seated. Restaurant was busy but not packed. Table was a tad wobbly, so waiter adjusted it immediately w/o my asking. Ordered an Innes&Gunn IPA on tap - delicious. First time I had ever tried that style of ale from this brewer. My luncheon guest and I ordered the lunch special - a stracciatella soup - hot with a very tasty chicken broth, followed by a meat and mushroom ravioli made in-house with a velvety and creamy cheese sauce. Portion size was right, pasta was just slightly on the tender side of al dente, sauce temp was perfectly hot and seasoned very nicely with cracked black pepper. Parmesan cheese and fresh ground pepper was added to taste. Dessert was NY Cheesecake and it was creamy as expected. Graham cracker crumb crust not soggy.
